The Rebels were forced into another default this Thursday but confidently beat the Cougars in the ensuing scratch match. It was generally agreed upon by the Rebels that Irfaan was to blame for their forfeit. However, despite the long list of absentees the Rebels played well. Gregg found security behind a face shield and recorded a shut-out in net. The Rebels also saw "The Return of the Max" from Scotland and young D.J. Waller in the crowd. Despite missing some of their key players, the Rebels dismantled the Warriors this Thursday night with some fine passing. An Ahmed hat-trick had the crowd (the injured Nessie) going crazy as the boys and girls in purple racked up a high score and sent Jess back to the Golden Bears with a shut-out.
